 We are excited to celebrate the third annual Capital City Juneteenth Celebration! It is our goal to make the event a citywide celebration of freedom throughout Raleigh as we unite to celebrate Juneteenth, also known as, Freedom Day.

Because of your financial support today, the CCJC will be able to have a successful 2023 celebration by planning a commemorative service and activities which will help to provide an opportunity for us all to give deserving honor and recognition to formerly enslaved African Americans for their accomplishments and their achievements as a result of their tenacity amid their struggles.
