Presents Juneteenth: Looking Back While Moving Forward
A Virtual Event @ 2 pm
The virtual event will include special presentations about the history of Juneteenth
along with a panel discussion regarding criminal justice reform, economic wealth,
African American women leadership, and the role of the black church in the
African American community.

Create a colorful visual celebration of the legacy of Juneteenth
Join in by coloring chalk artist drawings of the Juneteenth flag
and line portraits of formerly enslaved individuals whose lives intersected
with the Capitol and write the names of Raleigh freedmen and freedwomen
